Refund & Cancellation Policy

How the refundable reservation works, how later payments are authorized, and how members can stop recurring charges.

Draft dated July 15, 2026. This document must be conformed to the actual providers and platform operations before it becomes operative.

Plain-language summary

Email us before Platform Launch for the full $50 back. Later charges require separate approval, and an active monthly membership can be cancelled without a cancellation fee.

1. $50 prelaunch reservation

The $50 Founding reservation is fully refundable at any time before Platform Launch, as defined in the Founding Reservation Terms. To cancel, email hello@melodicmotion.com from the email address used at checkout and clearly request cancellation and a refund. No reason is required.

We will acknowledge the request and initiate the full $50 refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. We will not deduct our ordinary payment-processing costs. Your financial institution may take additional time to post the credit. A refund ends your Founding position, prelaunch access, and associated Founding benefits.

2. Platform Launch and enrollment

At Platform Launch, we will invite you to complete enrollment. Your reservation does not automatically authorize the remaining $147 enrollment balance or the $14.99 monthly membership. You must separately approve each charge after seeing the then-current Membership & Curriculum License and billing disclosures.

If you affirmatively pay the $147, the earlier $50 is applied to the $197 enrollment price and is no longer separately refundable under the prelaunch promise. Any enrollment refund window offered at launch will be stated clearly before payment. Until that final checkout is configured, no additional post-launch refund promise is made.

3. Monthly membership billing

If you separately enroll in the monthly membership, the disclosed recurring charge—planned at $14.99 per month for continuously active Founding Members—will be billed to your selected payment method at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Taxes may apply where required. We will provide a receipt or account record and clearly identify the recurring nature of the charge before obtaining consent.

If a payment fails, we may retry it, ask you to update the payment method, restrict access, or cancel the membership after reasonable notice. We will not change the price for an active Founding Member contrary to an express protected-rate promise, except with affirmative agreement or where required by law or tax treatment.

4. How to cancel monthly access

You may cancel at any time through the online account or billing-management method provided with the membership. You may also email hello@melodicmotion.com for assistance. Cancellation stops future recurring charges and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless law requires otherwise.

You remain responsible for charges properly incurred before cancellation. We do not impose a cancellation fee. Deleting an app, ignoring email, or stopping use does not by itself cancel billing; use the stated cancellation method and keep the confirmation.

5. What happens after cancellation

At the end of the paid period, access to the platform, curriculum library, recordings, guides, walkthroughs, community, updates, and commercial class-use license ends. You must stop teaching with, reproducing, displaying, distributing, or using member-only materials except to the extent a separate written license expressly permits continued use.

You must delete downloaded member materials from personal devices and storage, excluding transaction records and materials we expressly designate as permanently retainable. Cancellation does not transfer ownership or create a continuing commercial license.

6. Founding-rate consequences

The protected $14.99 Founding rate applies only while the Founding Membership remains continuously active and in good standing. If you cancel or allow the membership to terminate, the Founding rate and Founding-only benefits may be permanently lost. Rejoining, if offered, may require the then-current price and terms. A short payment-recovery period or our correction of an error does not necessarily break continuous status.

7. Refund exceptions and service problems

Except for the prelaunch $50 promise, an express checkout refund window, a duplicate or unauthorized charge, our material billing error, or a right required by law, payments are nonrefundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time or partial billing periods.

If you believe a charge is incorrect or the paid service is materially unavailable, contact us promptly so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, correct the charge, provide a credit, or issue a refund. Nothing in this policy limits nonwaivable rights under applicable law.

8. Termination by Melodic Motion

We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, threats or harassment, material breach, unauthorized sharing, infringement, or misuse of the curriculum. Where reasonably appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination without refund to the extent permitted by law.

If we discontinue the paid membership generally, we will provide reasonable notice and a prorated refund for any prepaid period that will not be provided, unless discontinuation results from an event beyond our reasonable control and another lawful remedy is offered.

9. Records and contact
