Melodic Motion

Straight answers before you decide

Ask everything.

I want you to understand the curriculum, the independent-business relationship, the costs, the launch process, and your responsibilities before you reserve anything.

The curriculum and teaching

Can I really lead these classes?

Do I need formal music training?+

No. The music is recorded, the lesson is structured, and the instructor guide explains what you are helping children notice and experience. You do not need to play an instrument, compose music, or sing professionally.

Do I need dance experience?+

No. The movement is approachable and designed for participation rather than technical dance instruction. Your role is to model, invite, encourage, and create energy—not demonstrate perfect choreography.

Do I need previous teaching experience?+

Teaching experience can help, but it is not required. Warmth, preparation, clear communication, comfort with young children, and a willingness to participate fully are more important. The guides and walkthroughs are designed to help you understand the class before you lead it.

What ages is the curriculum designed for?+

Melodic Motion™ is designed primarily for young children in the toddler and preschool years, with active caregiver participation. Members will receive guidance on age grouping and adapting expectations for different developmental stages.

How long is each class?+

Lessons are designed to support approximately 45 minutes of instruction. Actual class length may vary based on your group, participation, transitions, venue, and business format.

What does a typical class include?+

Each class follows a familiar emotional arc: connection, body engagement, musical discovery, imaginative adventure, high-energy release, a return to calm, and the same familiar goodbye song. Exact timing, activities, cues, transitions, and adaptations remain inside the member curriculum.

What if a child does not want to participate?+

Participation is an invitation. Watching, staying close to a caregiver, making small gestures, using seated movement, or joining later can all be valid participation. The guides include reluctant-participant and mobility adaptations.

Will I see how a full class is taught?+

Yes. The complete membership includes lesson walkthroughs and full-class examples so you can see how preparation, pacing, participation, transitions, and energy work in a real room.

Can I download lessons for offline use?+

Yes. The platform is planned to support reliable offline playback so your music does not depend on venue Wi-Fi or strong mobile service.

Your independent business

What does independence actually mean?

Are there any rules I have to follow?+

A few core ones. Classes are taught live and in person, a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult attends and participates with each child, member materials are not redistributed or used in recorded classes, and you carry your own general liability insurance before teaching. Your business name, pricing, schedule, venues, marketing, and pace remain yours to decide, subject to the membership license and applicable law.

Is this a franchise?+

No. You do not purchase a territory, open a Melodic Motion™ location, or operate under a prescribed Melodic Motion business system. You independently choose your name, pricing, schedule, venues, and marketing.

Do I operate under the Melodic Motion™ name?+

No. You operate under your own independent business identity. Melodic Motion™ provides curriculum and member resources. Approved wording for accurately describing licensed curriculum use will be included in the final terms.

Am I a Melodic Motion employee, agent, or representative?+

No. Membership does not create employment, agency, partnership, certification, or authority to represent Melodic Motion™. You independently own and operate your business.

May I charge families for classes?+

Yes. While your membership is active, you may use the curriculum in paid classes through your independently owned and operated business, subject to the final membership and curriculum-license terms.

Do you take a percentage of my class revenue?+

No. Melodic Motion™ does not charge a percentage royalty on your class revenue. Your own payment-processing fees, taxes, venue costs, insurance, marketing, and other business expenses still apply.

Do I set my own prices?+

Yes. You choose pricing based on your market, expenses, venue, class format, and goals. Any pricing examples in the Business Launch Framework are educational planning tools—not required prices or income promises.

Where could I teach?+

There are more possibilities than most people initially realize, including categories many new class providers overlook. The Business Launch Framework explains what makes different spaces worth considering and how to begin evaluating and approaching them. You do not need a storefront or dedicated studio to begin planning.

Can I use the curriculum in a preschool, childcare program, or existing business?+

Potentially, but the Melodic Motion class itself must remain live and in person with a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult attending and participating with each child. It may not be offered as a drop-off or childcare program. Any setting must also satisfy the membership license and the requirements imposed by the venue, employer, school, insurer, and applicable law.

What equipment will I need?+

Your setup depends on where and how you teach. You may need sound equipment, core props, presentation materials, and optional visual enhancements. The Business Launch Framework helps distinguish essentials from additions that can wait.

Am I responsible for insurance, permits, taxes, and background checks?+

Yes. Members remain responsible for researching and satisfying all requirements that apply to their businesses, venues, workers, and locations, including insurance, registrations, permits, taxes, child-safety policies, and background checks. Melodic Motion materials do not replace professional advice.

Will you guarantee that I earn money?+

No. Revenue depends on local demand, pricing, expenses, effort, marketing, attendance, venue availability, consistency, and many other factors. Melodic Motion™ provides curriculum and planning resources; it does not guarantee enrollment, revenue, income, or profit.

Membership and access

What exactly do I receive?

What is included in the complete membership?+

The complete platform includes 36 lessons, approximately 180 custom-produced songs and music tracks, instructor guides, before-class parent guides, lesson walkthroughs, full-class examples, offline playback, the Business Launch Framework, member community, and eligible membership updates and additions.

What is the $197 enrollment price?+

The Founding Membership enrollment price is $197. Your $50 reservation is applied to that amount, leaving $147 due when the complete platform opens and your early access begins.

What does the $14.99 monthly membership maintain?+

It keeps your access active to the curriculum library, music, guides, walkthroughs, offline playback, community, and eligible membership updates and additions. It also maintains your right to use the curriculum in paid classes under the applicable license terms.

Is the $14.99 Founding rate protected?+

Yes. Founding Members keep the $14.99 monthly rate while their membership remains continuously active, even if standard membership pricing later increases.

What happens if I cancel the monthly membership?+

Your platform access and active curriculum-use rights will end according to the final membership terms. If you later return, your Founding rate may no longer be available. The precise cancellation and access rules will be displayed before your remaining $147 becomes due.

Can I share my login or distribute the materials?+

No. Membership is for the authorized member. Songs, guides, videos, downloads, and other materials may not be copied, shared, resold, uploaded, publicly distributed, or used to create a competing curriculum except as expressly permitted by the final license.

Can I transfer or sell my membership?+

No transfer right is currently planned. The final terms will explain whether any limited business-entity or account changes are permitted.

Are new lessons automatically included?+

Founding Members will receive the complete initial 36-lesson curriculum plus eligible improvements and additions made available through the active membership. Some future specialty collections or premium products may be sold separately, with pricing disclosed before purchase.

The Founding 50

What happens before the platform opens?

Is the curriculum already finished?+

Yes. The 36 lessons, approximately 180 custom-produced songs and music tracks, instructor guides, parent guides, and full year of curriculum already exist. The Founding launch validates the first member cohort before the complete app and community are activated and finalized.

Why wait for 50 members?+

An app and community become valuable when real people are inside them—learning together, comparing ideas, and building alongside one another. Gathering the first cohort validates demand before adding the full platform overhead.

What happens immediately after I reserve?+

You receive access to the Business Launch Framework so you can begin preparing your identity, venue strategy, equipment plan, pricing research, outreach, and first-class timeline.

When does the final launch process begin?+

The final platform launch process begins once all 50 Founding Memberships are reserved. Founding Members receive progress updates, advance notice, and early access before wider enrollment.

Is there a guaranteed calendar launch date?+

Not before the founding cohort is complete. I do not want to promise a date that depends on reaching 50 reservations. Your deposit remains fully refundable until the complete platform opens.

What if I change my mind before launch?+

You may request a full refund of your $50 reservation at any time before the complete platform opens.

What if the platform never launches?+

Your $50 reservation remains refundable. The final reservation terms will explain the refund process and define the event that constitutes platform launch.

What do Founding Members receive as a thank-you?+

Founding benefits include the protected monthly rate, profile badge, optional digital Founding 50 recognition, exclusive bonus lesson and launch resources, early platform access, priority feedback opportunities, and a private online founding kickoff.

Does Founding 50 recognition imply employment or franchise status?+

No. It is optional recognition of early membership only. It does not indicate employment, agency, certification, endorsement, territory rights, or a franchise relationship.
